BONUS Concert – Thursday 25 April: Afternoon Concert in Dundee 1.00-1.45pm – see bottom of page for details

Friday 26 April: Evening Concert 7.30-10.00pm

The Pleasance, 60 The Pleasance, Edinburgh EH8 9TJ 

Featuring:

CaolmharHannah Sundkvist (fiddle, mandolin, voice), Kristian Hodén (accordion), Mattias Walla (viola, fiddle) & Mattias Hammarsten (guitar) associated with V-Dala Spelmanslag – Sweden’s longest-running student folk ensemble & three times student world champions, perform a range of Nordic & Scottish music and songs.

Jocelyn Pettit (fiddle, stepdancer, singer) with Rav Sira (guitar, bodhran, vocals) & Ellen Gira (cello, vocals) – three top young musicians studying in Scotland, from Canada, Norway and the USA, who enjoy playing both Nordic and Scottish music – in their first headline concert.

The cafe/bar is open for food before & during the evening concert.

Saturday 27 April: Evening Concert & Ceilidh 7.30-11.00pm

The Pleasance, 60 The Pleasance, Edinburgh EH8 9TJ 

Featuring:

Kata – Singers Greta Bech, Guðrið Hansdóttir, Arnfríð Lutzen, Eyð Berghamar Jacobsen and Unn Paturson from the Faroe Islands, use mesmerising harmonies to perform old songs based on folk stories and myths.

The Northern Streams Ceilidh Band (Scotland/Sweden)

Created from our Festival guest musicians, the Northern Streams Ceilidh Band, will be giving you the opportunity to try out Scottish & Nordic dances – which will be called/demonstrated – during the extended second half of our concert or you can just sit and listen to the Nordic & Scottish sounds!

Sunday 28 April: Free Open Session 1.30-4.30pm

The Pleasance, 60 The Pleasance, Edinburgh EH8 9TJ 

A chance to play and/or sing together in the relaxed setting of the Upper Hall at The Pleasance with a mix of Scottish and Nordic music & song or come along and listen. Free!

HMS Unicorn Dundee, Victoria Dock, DD1 3BP

Featuring:

Adult tickets only £5 (child £2) which also gets you the opportunity to look around the Unicorn as well.
